ALL HARDWARE IS INCLUDED

Designed from the original sold by VW of America. We have improved on them to receive a draw bar.

It installs by bolting to the transmission cradle mount, thus pulling the load from the chassis of the vehicle instead of the bumper.

They are all powder coated in black, and are available in 2" ONLY.

Hitch design allows easy access to the oil drain plate

FITS ALL VW THINGS WITH ORIGINAL STYLE MUFFLER SET UP EXITING BUMPER HOLES AND ALSO VW THINGS FITTED WITH STANDARD BUG MUFFLERS TAILPIPES EXITING UNDER BUMPER

WILL NOT FIT WITH EMPI STYLE HOT DOG MUFFLERS OR HEADER EXHAUST TYPES or MODIFICATIONS WILL BE REQUIRED

It's a hitch thing

I am a capable man but sometimes buying something that so well-thought-out and considered is the way to go. I'm really happy with this hitch. It bolted on with supplied bolts and nuts. The only drilling was 2 holes in the bumper, no problem. I think you'll be happy with it. I'm not sure about towing with it but for a bike rack it was perfect...
