The glovebox lamp in my ‘74 self-destructed—now what ? All the usual aftermarket retailers were no help. A friend reminded me about Samba—now my new rave is thingparts.com—it’s bookmarked on the laptop and I’ll surf the site regularly. The part itself is golden—a scrub and rattlecan spritz and it’s glowing in the dark .

I got the USED Maplight and it was slightly rusty.
I realize that it was used and it was in moderate condition.
Also the bulb that was included for free in it was new..that was a bonus.
It will take a little time and effort to get this in condition to install in my vehicle.. but it should clean up and you cant beat the price.
